These terms govern your use of goxclaim.com ("the Site") and any claim recovery services provided by Christofer Thorén ("I", "me"), operating as GoxClaim from Palma, Spain.
I provide assistance navigating the Mt. Gox civil rehabilitation claims process. This includes helping creditors access their claims portal, complete required forms, resolve technical issues, and communicate with the trustee's office.
I am not a law firm. I do not provide legal advice. I do not represent you in legal proceedings. If your situation requires legal counsel, I will recommend you seek independent legal advice.
The initial claim assessment is free and carries no obligation. I check whether a claim exists in your name and estimate its approximate value based on publicly available information about the rehabilitation plan. You are under no obligation to proceed after receiving an assessment.
If you choose to engage my services for claim recovery:
The specific fee arrangement will be confirmed in writing (by email) before any paid work begins. No fees are charged without your explicit written agreement.
I do not handle, hold, or have access to your funds at any point. The Mt. Gox trustee pays creditors directly to the bank account registered on the claim. I cannot redirect, intercept, or access these payments. My invoice is separate from the trustee's payment process.

I cannot guarantee any specific outcome. The Mt. Gox rehabilitation process is managed by a court-appointed trustee under Japanese law. Decisions about claim approval, distribution amounts, and payment timing are made by the trustee, not by me. I can only assist you in navigating the process — I cannot influence the trustee's decisions.
All figures, estimates, and timelines provided on this site or during our communications are approximate and based on publicly available information. Actual amounts may differ.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or my services. My total liability for any claim related to my services is limited to the fees you have actually paid me.
Either party may end the service relationship at any time by written notice (email). If you terminate before receiving a payout from the trustee, no fee is owed. If I terminate, no fee is owed unless a payout has already been received.
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
I may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. If you have an active service agreement, I will notify you of material changes by email.
